Description

Allium sphaerocephalon Bulbs provide colour later than many other alliums, producing masses of distinctive dark, bullet-shaped flower heads during July and August. Their slender upright stems weave easily through established borders, adding structure without overwhelming surrounding plants.

Supplied as a pack of 50 bulbs, plants reach approximately 60-90cm (2-3ft). This easy-to-grow, long-lasting variety is suitable for cutting and attracts bees and butterflies. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun.

Bulb size: 5/6
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 5/6 bulb measures approximately 5-6cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
