Description

Allium nigrum Bulbs produce tall clusters of creamy-white flowers with dark green, almost black centres, creating a distinctive contrast in late-spring borders. Their elegant colouring works particularly well alongside deep purple alliums such as Atropurpureum or Purple Sensation.

Supplied as a pack of 10 bulbs, plants reach approximately 50-70cm (20-28in) and flower from May to June. The strong stems are excellent for cutting and the flowers are attractive to pollinators. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun.

Bulb size: 10/12
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 10/12 bulb measures approximately 10-12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
