Allium giganteum Bulbs are one of our favourites, producing large lilac-pink flower heads that can reach up to 20cm (8in) in diameter. Their impressive height and architectural shape make them a striking feature in borders, especially when planted in drifts or clumps for maximum impact.

Supplied as a pack of 3 bulbs, plants reach around 1.2m (4ft) and flower from May to June. The ornamental blooms are suitable for cutting and are attractive to bees and butterflies. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun.

Bulb size: 20/22
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 20/22 bulb measures approximately 20-22cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
