Tulip Black Hero Flower Bulbs produce large, double ruffled flowers in exceptionally deep maroon tones, appearing almost black in some light, with subtle green flecks adding further detail. Their rich colouring and full peony-like form make a dramatic late-season statement.

Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 50cm and flower in May. They are ideal for adding depth to borders and containers and make striking cut flowers. Plant from September to December in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.

Bulb size: 12+
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 12+ bulb measures at least 12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
