Product Description

This super saver Sweet Potato Plant Collection consists of our three favourite sweet potato varieties which are all British-grown varieties well suited to our climate. You will receive 15 plants, 5 each of the following varieties:

Erato Vineland Early Orange: For 2025 we have added a new variety to the sweet potato collection! Vineland Early Orange has been selected for its higher yield of delicious, vibrant orange tubers. A classic sweet potato with reliable growth. The thick and oval tubers have an excellent flavour and are perfect roasted or baked.

Erato White - A recent introduction that has been bred as an improvement on ‘Gusto’ that we have sold in previous yearsThis gourmet white fleshed variety has a wonderful sweet flavour – perfect as an alternative to a normal baked potato. This variety is perfect for growing large robust tubers with a sweeter white, creamy flesh and a violet-purple skin.

.

Erato Violet - The tubers of this unique variety more than make up for their smaller tuber size with their unique and very attractive colour that remains after cooking. A true gourmet variety with a rich sweet flavour adding colour to many dishes - hard to find in the shops!

Good Price and Plants, Shame about Delivery

Good price and range of varieties. My only complaint is the condition in which they arrived. I appreciate that this is NOT the fault of Fothergill's. When I opened the box it looked like people had been using it to play rugby. All the seedlings were out of place and one was very nearly completely severed from its roots.
