The first ever self-pollinating, red-flowered runner bean, producing masses of string less, tender and succulent beans. Very reliable variety setting in even the poorest weather and high temperatures with no help from pollinators. Very attractive in the veg or flower border.
It's still not too late to be planting some later cropping summer vegetable plants – ideal if you didn't sow quite enough, or are just looking to top up existing plantings. All the plants are grown in their own cell of compost and will be ready to despatch from late June for immediate planting.
