Product Description
This high yielding Apollo lettuce variety produces masses of thick, crispy green leaves that are perfect for summer salads. We loved Verdagio as soon as we saw it at vegetable trials and were drawn to its attractive textural green leaf and its excellent resistance to tip-burn and bolting. If you're looking to cut a pre-prepared salad, this is the lettuce you need. Simply cut at the base and let the leaves fall into your salad bowl. Verdagio also has the added bonus of having a long shelf life once harvested.
