Product Description

Kale Reflex F1 is a new strain, which is tastier and more succulent than many older varieties. Reflex F1 is a 'must have' winter vegetable because it can be picked as required from October through to February. Reflex will sail through the very toughest of winters too!

Following on from our summer cropping range, our autumn and winter cropping varieties will ensure you have a tasty and delicious selection of vegetables to harvest from autumn through to next spring. As for our summer range, all are grown at our nursery, in their own cell of compost, and have been selected for their flavour and reliability. Despatches will begin in August for immediate planting.

You will be impressed by their quality and the speed with which they establish and grow after transplanting, giving you the satisfaction of home grown vegetables. Top quality varieties, professionally grown, delivered at just the right time and in perfect condition for growing on in your garden, allotment or greenhouse, with complete, easy-to-understand growing hints.

Healthy Reflex Kale plants

Despite being in the post 3 days and looking a bit yellow the kale plants soon recovered once potted up. I’ll let them get a bit bigger under glass before I plant them out.I can’t comment on the eating quality as I haven’t grown this variety before. If they could be delivered by next day post I’d give 5 stars.

Kale

I feel these should be called slips as they came without soil or a little plug just wrapped in wet tissue paper. Some were very dry while others were still damp. At least 50% were yellow. A bit disappointed to be honest after I bought 30. I've really had to nurse them back to health before even considering planting the out so I've lost a few weeks really.
