Fritillaria meleagris Alba Flower Bulbs are the rarer white form of the snakeshead fritillary, producing graceful nodding bells delicately chequered with pale green. Their subtle colouring and natural form make them especially attractive at the front of borders or allowed to naturalise through grass.

Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach approximately 15-20cm (8-10in) and flower from April to May. Easy to grow and generally trouble free, the blooms are also suitable for cutting. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.

Bulb size: 7/8
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 7/8 bulb measures approximately 7-8cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
