Description
Cucumber Bella F1 Grafted Vegetable Plants are strong and vigorous growers, producing long cucumbers up to 35cm (14in) with a traditional flavour and no bitter aftertaste. Ideal for unheated greenhouses, this reliable variety is well-known for its excellent mildew tolerance.
Grafted vegetable plants give gardeners stronger growth, improved resilience, and higher yields, thanks to the combination of a hybrid variety and a robust species rootstock. These plants are particularly resistant to soil-borne pests and diseases, such as nematodes, making them ideal when greenhouse soil limits crop rotation. While traditionally greenhouse grown, they also thrive outdoors in warm, sunny positions.
Supplied as well-established plants in 9cm pots. Please do not remove the plastic grafting clip – it will naturally detach as the plant grows.
