Chionodoxa luciliae Flower Bulbs, commonly known as Glory of the Snow, produce masses of star-shaped gentian-blue flowers above fresh green, strap-like foliage. One of the earliest spring bulbs to appear, they create a sparkling carpet of colour through beds, borders and naturalised areas.

Supplied as a pack of 40 bulbs, plants reach around 15cm (6in) and flower from March to April. They are easy to grow in well-drained soil, work beautifully in patio containers and are attractive to pollinators. Plant from September to November in full sun or partial shade.

Bulb size: 5/6
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 5/6 bulb measures approximately 5-6cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
