Product Description

Carrot Extremo F1 is a high quality Nantes x Kuroda hybrid variety with excellent flavoured roots with resistance to splitting. A good source of vitamin A and antioxidants.
Easily sown direct in the garden. Sow little and often for a continuous crop.

Sow & Grow

Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½”) deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Allow 30cm (1’) between rows. Early sowings may benefit from cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly from the row, allowing remainder to grow on. Water well until plants are established. Regular sowings made every three weeks will ensure a continuous supply of young roots.

We've grown these carrots for two years, both in a trough and in a raised bed. They germinate reliably, they grow well without predation from disease and taste great, either fresh or from the freezer. Highly recommended.
