Description
Blueberry Brigitta Blue keeps the pleasure of home-grown blueberry picking going into late summer and early autumn. The firm, tasty blue berries are lovely enjoyed fresh from the bush and freeze especially well, so a generous harvest can be enjoyed for months afterwards.
The vigorous upright bush can eventually reach around 1.5–2.5m and, once fruiting is over, its foliage develops warm orange and red autumn shades. Give it acidic, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. If your soil isn't naturally acidic, it is equally happy in a large patio pot filled with ericaceous compost.
Supplied as an established 2 litre potted plant, ready to become a productive and colourful part of the garden.
