This is the earliest variety of garlic to harvest we know of! From an autumn planting you could be harvesting fresh garlic from as early as late May! White skinned with clean, brilliant white flesh, it tastes delicious. Extra Early will store well until November/December.
All of these varieties are perfect for autumn planting – we’ve tried and tested them and know that they perform well. We choose only the finest quality bulbs, grown commercially in the UK by one of the world’s leading garlic farms. You should always buy garlic from a reputable source and never plant shop bought, cooking garlic. All of our bulbs are certified as disease and virus free.

Great quality, with large cloves.
Two reallly nice sized bulbs in lovely condition arrived promptly. I haven’t grown this variety before but have high hopes from the quality of these bulbs that the harvest will be superb. Two bulbs gave me 19 cloves.
Ordered as a pre-order. When opened to plant out we discovered one of the bulbs was mouldy and no good.

First order and one bulb had some completely rotted cloves. Review of quality control needed I suggest. Doubt if I will order again.
I ordered some Extra Early Wight garlic bulbs. The order came nice and early and the bulbs were in very good condition. I've always been happy with everything I've received from Fothergill's so far.
