Product Description
This uniquely formulated soil improver is made from biochar a kind of 'super charcoal' enriched with seaweed, wormcasts and mycorrhizal. It won't breakdown or degrade and will trap and lock-in nutrients for many years. Dig straight into your soil or mix with compost to improve structure and fertility giving you bigger, more healthy plants. Because it's highly porous, it absorbs moisture extremely well, so less watering is required, making it perfect for hanging baskets and containers.
Use between 500g and 1kg per square metre.
New range of BioChar fertilisers, soil improvers and composts contain no peat and is Soil Association approved. The key ingredient is Biochar, a form of highly porous 'super charcoal' which naturally helps improve soil structure, enhances soil fertility and boosts soil health. It doesn't decompose and provides the perfect habitat for mycorrhizal fungi, actinomycetes bacteria and other beneficial soil organisms to thrive.
