Product Description

Bred by Dr. Jan Danek, one of the world's foremost raspberry breeders, Polka is a very recent introduction to the raspberry world. The large and juicy berries have a mouth-wateringly sweet flavour and can produce up to 2.5kg of fruit per cane. Cropping from July through to October, the canes are virtually spine free and show good resistance to disease. Our specially selected canes are propagated from disease-free certified stock, and will have well developed root systems when you receive them, so they will establish well and give excellent yield. Floricane varieties fruit on canes produced in the previous year while Primocane varieties produce fruits on current season growth. Delivered as bare root canes.

Raspberry Polka AGM Fruit Canes (Primocane)

What a plant! Planted in February in a garden with pretty poor soil (we recently bought a new build) and they have romped away. With very little care or attention we are now cropping more fruit than we can eat and it's only year one. Can't wait for next year!
