Originating from Eastern Europe, this superb new Blackcurrant variety is literally bursting with flavour! The fruits are larger than most and contain 15% sugar ensuring each currant has a deliciously sweet flavour. Blackcurrant Ebony is excellent at coping with our ever changing climate and shows great resistance to mildew. We offer all our potted fruit plants in 2ltr and 3ltr pots, this will give you an older, more established plant with a bigger root ball than those offered in 9cm pots. The extra space gives the roots more room to grow, which in turn allows them to absorb more nutrients leading to a stronger plant that will establish more quickly and fruit more prolifically to begin with.
