Why?

They were obviously strong, healthy plant before packing but they were put into boxes that required the top third of the plant to be bent to fit inside. Result being two out of three plants had been snapped off. I surmise that at least one had broken at the point of packing as the live half had started to heal over. Hence the title "why?" Quality product ruined by a small detail of the packaging being too small for the plant.
